Social Tennis

Saturday 3rd December 2011 Christmas American Tournament 2.15pm – 5pm followed by Mulled Wine and Mince Pies. Everyone welcome, do come along for Mulled Wine and mince pies even if you do not want to play tennis

At Radlett we offer social tennis for adults and children where all members are welcome to mix in and meet other members.

For Adults
Mixed Social Tennis – Coach Led: Wednesdays from 7pm, bar open from 7.30pm -10.30pm.
Informal Mens Social: Sundays 9am-12pm on courts 1-3
Informal Ladies Social: Sundays 9am – 12pm on courts 5 & 6

For Adults with Children
Family Social Tennis – Coach Led: Saturdays 2pm onwards, bar open from 3-6pm.

For Children
Mini and Junior Social Tennis – Coach Led: Fridays during term time 5pm – 8pm, bar open from 6pm
Games and activities are organised by the coaches and tennis assistants. Mini members are required to leave the courts at 7pm when the focus is on tennis for the junior members. All children left at the club for this activity must be signed in and out by a parent/guardian unless they have completed the necessary paperwork giving their children permission to sign themselves in and/or out.

Friday 2nd December was the last Mini and Junior Social Tennis session of 2011. The coaches have done a fantastic job organising the activities on court for the children. The club would very much like to hear from any parents who are willing to be involved in helping to organise the social aspect of this session. Previously some parents have sold hot food (pizzas/hot dogs) and a few snacks, others have organised end of term party games and food.
Mini and Junior members may continue to use the courts on a Friday evening with parental supervision. Floodlights are charged at £2 per half hour and will be invoiced monthly. Instructions can be found alongside the booking terminal in the club foyer
Friday Mini and Junior Social Tennis will recommence on 2nd March 2012.
