From 1 January 2012 the Administration Office/G decided to trial different court usage at the
Club for Sunday morning social.

The Tennis Committee have received feedback from the membership that this is not a popular
change and propose that the court allocation reverts back to pre-January 2012 allocation.

Therefore with immediate effect the Sunday morning court allocation will be as follows:
Courts 1 – 3 Mens Tennis
Courts 5 – 6 Ladies Tennis
Court 4, 7, 8 & 9 Floating courts – To be used in the event that all other allocated courts
are being used as prescribed above and can be used by ladies/men/mixed.

Sunday morning is a doubles social and doubles tennis has priority over singles.

Please do not arrange singles matches during the Sunday morning social period. If you come
down to play singles tennis then it cannot be guaranteed that you will have a court till after
noon and in the event of a shortage of courts for doubles players you may be asked to vacate
the court.

Players should play one short set on Sunday mornings and then the court should be offered to
any waiting players.

Please note that if you want to be guaranteed a game of tennis outside social tennis times then
you should use the club court booking system.
